The purpose of teaching the discipline is:

  • provide theoretical training for the development and research of system software, the study of a number of the following disciplines and the implementation of diploma design;
  • to give knowledge about modern programming technologies and purposeful use of assembly language;
  •  gaining knowledge and skills of practical application of programming techniques in assembly language when creating software products for professional and system software.

The process of studying the discipline is aimed at forming the following competencies:

Ability to develop algorithmic and software, components of computer systems and networks, Internet applications, cyberphysical systems using modern methods and programming languages, as well as tools and systems of design automation, etc. (P3).

Ability to design, implement and maintain computer systems and networks of various types and purposes (P4).

Ability to create system and application software for computer systems and networks (P5).

Ability to use and implement new technologies, including smart, mobile, green and secure computing technologies, to participate in the modernization and reconstruction of computer systems and networks, various embedded and distributed applications, in particular to increase their efficiency. (P6).

Know:

  • scientific and mathematical provisions underlying the functioning of computer tools, systems and networks;
  • the latest technologies in the field of computer engineering;
  • the impact of technical solutions in the social, economic, social and environmental contexts.

Be able:

apply knowledge to identify, formulate and solve technical problems of the specialty, using known methods;

systematically think and apply creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas;

develop software for embedded and distributed applications, calculate, operate, typical for the specialty equipment;

search for information in various sources to solve problems of computer engineering;

to combine theory and practice, as well as to make decisions and develop a strategy for solving the problems of the specialty, taking into account universal values, social, state and industrial interests.
